What do Nordic Power Users has to say about SketchUp?

Philip Petrus Ay
Architect and Project Manager
"As an architect and project manager, SketchUp is an indispensable tool in my workflow. Its integration capabilities with Office Suite allow for seamless collaboration with stakeholders, while its tools for analyzing and visualizing project data lead to better outcomes and increased efficiency. Additionally, the iPad version's mobility and touch gestures provide a more intuitive approach to architecture, enabling me to work from anywhere."

Tim Nøhr Elkær
Professional SketchUp User
"I use SketchUp to geolocate my projects and orient my 3D models correctly with the context of the neighbouring buildings, roads, waterways and landscape in mind. Most of my projects start in SketchUp and finish in Layout, even when the primary software is Rhinoceros and Enscape or V-Ray."

Fredik Emilsson
Professional SketchUp User
"With 20 years of SketchUp experience, I am confident that SketchUp is a flexible and broad 3D tool suitable for all types of 3D modeling. Everything from the simple volume model to the detailed construction model or photorealistic image."

Daniel Fagerberg
Architect, SAR
"The best thing about SketchUp is the clarity, the range of Plug-ins, forums, the way to model, the compatibility with other software and the possibility to use as BIM coordination."

Johannes Kabell
Timberman
“As far as I know, there is no other program that is as intuitive and user-friendly as Sketchup. In the past, we had to wait until assembly day before we knew for sure that the frame we cut would fit together and look as it should. Today, thanks to sketchup, we can test build the house on the computer and save ourselves the nervous wait."

Linus Fernström
Architect
"The first time I used Sketchup was in 2014, several years before I became an architect. The best thing about Sketchup is that you can do everything and that, just like when the pen flows over the paper, I don't have to think about different commands but can focus fully on my creation."

Anders Sandlin
Sheet metal worker
"I like to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern digital solutions. I use SketchUp almost daily and it helps me detect and solve problems in advance but also work smarter, be more efficient, be more sustainable and to visualize. I am convinced that more craftsmen would have great benefits from the program."

Filip Berti
Woodworker
"In my profession, I believe in combining the old traditional craftsmanship with new and modern technology. The art of drawing is a craft in itself, but that does not make it obvious that it must be done analogically. The feeling of a hand-planed floor or a cold brick foundation cannot be achieved with modern machines. But being able to show a drawing on a 1:1 scale to the customer and also twist and turn it in front of them or project it with AR technology directly onto reality. It is to offer quality without compromise."
